The only thing that Inkscape didn't have for you to use instantly was a triangle, a mathematical basic shape. Beyond that point, I am excited to have mastered yet another pointless part of imaging (no offense, but it's definitely not related to my future profession).
To sum up, put up your artistic hats and give it a go! It's fun to play around and create shapes and rockets! I felt like a 10-year-old for a second there :)

Εντυπωσιακή προσπάθεια Σάββα! Εμπνευσμένη η μεταφορά του "launchpad" στο λογότυπο. Ίσως να μην έχει τόσο πολύ αυτό το μοντέρνο look που έχουν οι υπόλοιπες καταχωρίσεις, αλλά ο πύραυλος σου είναι ο καλύτερος :) Καλή τύχη.
Και γιατί ακριβώς να στηρίξουμε κάτι τόσο κλειστό όσο αυτά από τα οποία προσπαθούμε να ξεφύγουμε;
Επειδή πιστεύω πως το launchpad κάνει προσπάθειες για να "ανοικτεί" ο κώδικας του.
Τι εννοείς "κάνει προσπάθειες";
Γράφτηκε from scratch όταν ξεκίνησε το Ubuntu και πάρθηκε συνειδητή επιλογή να είναι κλειστό.
Δεν είναι σαν άλλα κομμάτια software που έχουν κώδικα άλλων εταιριών και είναι δύσκολο, σχετικά, να ανοιχτεί.
Αν ήθελε ο Shuttleworth να το ανοίξει, θα το είχε ανοίξει.
Δεν θέλει και δεν είναι κάτι που κρύβει...
Μπορεί να έχεις δίκαιο, απλά εγώ κάπου διάβασα ότι θα το ανοίξουν, κι αν δεν ανοικτεί, θα δώσει APIs. Μάλλον διαβασα λάθος:
"Like Sourceforge and Google Code Hosting Launchpad is not open source. Unlike those other services, we have committed to making Launchpad Free Software. [...] Until there are standards and APIs that let standalone sites send these things to each other, having a single Launchpad instance is the most practical way of maximizing the collaboration that Launchpad is designed to achieve."
