Google: Search with easily and precisely

Google search comes with a lot of features and with some basic search tips and advanced operators. These tips will make you a pro.

For example if you are going to search for stuff to download in rapidshare, go to www.google.com this will be the quickest solution: program +rapidshare
If you want to search for a program OR software and the search string always to contain rapidshare, try: program|software +rapidshare
It's pretty easy when you get the hang of it. This way you'll eliminate unnecessary scrolling through thousands of hits, which most of them are not what you need (and believe me, most of the rest of the world doesn't need, since most of the first results are mostly spam or fake stuff containing malware - worms/virus/trojan/etc.)

Now let's try something else - How much is 2cm in feet? Easy as pie with this search string: 2cm in feet
What if you want to find the definition of a word? What does "exile" mean? Or was it "exhile"?? Let's see, first we'll try this search string: define:exhile and Google returns: Did you mean: define:exile - This doesn't mean it's correct, but Google gives you some other search strings other people used that MIGHT be correct. We now try exile: define:exile and this time we get a lovely simple list of definitions!
